Born from the musical heritage of Sasso(the finest slapper of the double-bass ever to walk on to a stage!), Pinna (much sought-after, hardcore-schooled drum-monster) and Andy (Guitar slingin' big-mouthed howler and front-man), the Hormonauts have been hormonizin' around europe for almost 10 years now.
Their career has gone from their first album "Hormone Hop"(Voodoo Rhythm Records)- an irreverend rockabilly affair-through another 3 classics -Mini Skirt( Ammonia Records);Hormone Airlines and Hormonized(both for V2 records)) up until the present day, getting more experimental with every album. What kind of music is it? We like to call it Hormonebilly. Or how about '50s Metal? Whatever it is it works!

The Hormonauts like to mix the styles and are always unpredictable in their music. As eclectic as their live show...high octane and always good fun! A Hormone party every time! They've supported acts such as Manu Chao, Rancid, The Cramps,The Misfits and have toured as far a field as the SXSW festival in Austin Texas. And always getting a good response. The Hormonauts are now the only and the first band with a album on mp3 player! "Spanish Omelette" made with Kenny Diezel (LSDiezel)-taking blues,country,and punk and shaking it up with Kenny's electrodub mayhem. Hormones 'n' Diezel!
